Presentation to Highlight the Value of Intellectual Property and the Patent Process
SOUTH CAROLINA – VentureSouth (fka SCAN) is pleased to announce John Sotomayor, patent attorney and former lead patent examiner with the US Patent & Trademark Office, will speak to four VentureSouth member groups next week. His presentation will provide an informative introduction on Intellectual Property (IP) and will help demystify patent process.
The presentations will provide both investors and entrepreneurs with an explanation of current best practices in the patent and trademark process and the meetings will be open to the public. Mr. Sotomayor will be presenting to the Spartanburg Angels in Spartanburg and the Upstate Carolina Angel Network in Greenville on August 24.
