VentureSouth includes more than 500 members, ofter located near one of our VentureSouth markets, but you can join from anywhere.
Members include business leaders, company founders, professionals, academics, and retirees from a wide array of backgrounds. They collectively are experts in every area of business and across industries. We leverage their insights to help evaluate potential investments – and to provide ongoing support and guidance the companies we invest in.
We welcome seasoned investors, but you do not need to be an experienced angel investor to join. We provide member education for aspiring angels to give you the best chance to:

Member Responsibilities
Joining VentureSouth does not come with significant responsibilities.
There is no minimum investment commitment, no multi-year membership requirement, and no set time requirement. We welcome as much of your participation as fits your budget and your time.
$3,000 / year membership. If you elect to invest, the minimum is $5,000. You can come to in-person local meetings - or participate wholly virtually. You can serve on screening calls, diligence teams, and portfolio boards - or not.
