Samantha joined the VentureSouth team in 2021. As Director of Operations, Samantha is responsible for coordinating all VentureSouth meetings, both virtual and in-person. Annually, the biggest undertaking being the VentureSouth Summit which hosts over 200 members and entrepreneurs. Additionally, Samantha works closely with the rest of the team to maintain VentureSouth wide operations, as well as assist with behind the scenes operational updates and records.
Prior to joining the VentureSouth team Samantha worked as a Professional Recruiter, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and working with Hiring Managers on job descriptions.
Samantha has a degree from Clemson University in Psychology, with a minor in Genetics, which has been surprisingly applicable and beneficial in her role as both a Professional Recruiter, and as Director of Operations at VentureSouth.
